The average interest rate of Westlake is 12.28%, and probably they apply the same or even higher than 12.28% interest rate for Vinfast. This rate is so high. But some Auto dealers, customers have to take it as they don't have any other choices, Vinfast is the same.

Vinfast dealers (currently Leith Vinfast) doesn't take the inventory and pay money to Vinfast. Leith has negotiation power, and they are not that dump to take Vinfast cars and pay Vinfast money. Instead, I guess, Leith just sell/lease the cars and got premium from Vinfast, then customers just need to pay Vinfast monthly.

The due day for this $33.7 mil borrowing is May 2024, while Vinfast can only collect monthly rental $249/month/car. This is a disaster for Vinfast, and it can't help Vinfast about cashflow. Even it created cash squeeze for Vinfast. Too bad.
